Payments

At the register: cash, card (on your own terminal), gift cards, store credit, split payments across two tenders, and layaway with a deposit.

Card payments run on the card terminal you already have, from your bank or payment provider, and you record each one in VoVi as a card sale. VoVi does not process card payments in New Zealand today. EFTPOS and credit cards run on your own terminal and are recorded in VoVi as card sales.

VoVi Payments (integrated card processing) is coming soon in the US only. It is not available in New Zealand.

Does VoVi take EFTPOS?

EFTPOS runs on your own terminal. You record each payment in VoVi as a card sale; there is no direct EFTPOS integration yet.

Does cash round to 10 cents?

Yes. VoVi rounds the cash total to the nearest 10 cents and shows it on the receipt. Card totals stay exact.

Is GST added to my VoVi subscription?

No. Prices are before tax, and VoVi is not registered for New Zealand GST today.

Can my GST number go on receipts?

Yes. Enter it once in the New Zealand set-up and it prints on every receipt.
