About VoVi POS

A point of sale built around the way small retail actually sells.

VoVi POS is a browser-based register and back office for retailers of every size in the United States — from mall carts and pop-ups to brick-and-mortar stores and multi-location chains carrying thousands of SKUs. Inventory, loyalty and gift cards, staff competitions, alerts that tell you before it is a problem, an offline mode that keeps selling, and — new — reports you build by describing them to the AI. The product is currently in private beta, with each new store onboarded personally.

What VoVi is

VoVi combines a point-of-sale register with inventory, purchase orders, customer records, loyalty, gift cards, layaway, staff commissions, time tracking and multi-location reporting. It runs in a web browser and can be installed to a device's home screen like an app.

It is designed first for businesses where counter space is tight, prices may be negotiated, sellers earn commission and several small locations need to report to one owner.

How the business works

VoVi offers two plans with the same software. Stores that process cards through VoVi pay $0 per month for the software, plus 2.79% on card-present Visa, Mastercard and Discover transactions — or a match of the effective rate they already pay — and 3.5% on American Express. Stores that keep an outside processor pay $99 per month per location.

The complete terms, rate-match conditions and beta disclosures are published on the pricing page and in the Terms of Service.

What private beta means

VoVi is onboarding United States stores business-by-business. Features may change during the beta, and some capabilities described as in development are labelled that way on the page where they appear. New merchants receive assisted setup rather than being left alone with a blank account.
