Cookie Policy

This policy explains how VoVi POS ("VoVi," "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on vovipos.com and in the VoVi platform.
The short version
We use no advertising cookies, no social-media pixels, and no third-party trackers. Our fonts and images are served from our own site. Most cookies listed below support sign-in and device authorization. Three are for website measurement: one remembers your cookie choice, and the other two are set only if you accept them. The public website works the same either way. We also count limited website events without cookies, as described below.

What we deliberately don't use
- No Google Analytics or other third-party analytics service;
- No advertising or retargeting pixels (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, or otherwise);
- No third-party fonts, CDNs, or embeds that would disclose your visit to another company;
- No cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, or session recording.
Website measurement
We count pricing-page views, clicks on calls to action and accepted contact requests on our own server. These events use no analytics cookies, visitor identifiers or browser fingerprints. The event records contain only an event type, timestamp, recognized page path and short action label, and are kept for up to 90 days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control stop the browser from sending page-view and click events. A contact request you choose to submit is still delivered and recorded. Our pages and sign-up form also send counts to Growth OS, our own sales-measurement service (hosted on Vercel): page views (noting the first page of a visit), clicks and sign-up steps. No IP address is stored, and only a coarse country is kept. Until you accept the cookie banner, these counts are anonymous: they carry no identifier, and nothing is stored on your device except your choice if you decline. If you accept, the gos_vid and gos_sid cookies above count unique visitors and visits. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control stop these counts and the banner.
Email we send
Cookies are not the only way a message can be counted, so for completeness: the marketing campaigns a VoVi merchant sends to their own customers can carry a small tracking image and links that record whether the message was opened or clicked, so the merchant can see how the campaign performed. Those counts are first-party — they go to that merchant's campaign statistics inside VoVi and nowhere else — and they only reach people who opted in to that merchant's marketing. Transactional email (receipts, password resets, order updates) carries no tracking of this kind.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential cookies listed above will prevent signing in to the platform, but the public website works fully without any cookies at all.
Changes
We ask before setting any cookie that needs your consent. If we change what we store or track, we will update this policy first and ask again where consent is required.
