The software is $0 per month on the free plan, with a flat 2.79% on card-present Visa, Mastercard and Discover sales processed through VoVi — or we match the rate you already pay — and 3.5% on American Express. If you prefer to keep your own card processor, VoVi is a flat $99 per month per location and we take no percentage. Both plans include every feature.

Q: Are there setup fees, per-user fees or per-location fees?

No. There is no setup fee, no per-user fee and no per-location fee on the free plan. Products, staff accounts and locations are unlimited. The $99 per month plan is charged per location because it replaces the processing revenue that funds the free plan.

Q: What do the card rates cover?

Card-present payments processed through VoVi, with the interchange and network fees already included rather than itemized separately. Cash, check, gift card and store credit sales cost nothing.

Q: Is there a contract, minimum or cancellation fee?

None of the three. There is no contract, no monthly minimum and no cancellation fee, and your data exports to CSV whenever you want it.

Q: Do I have to buy hardware?

No terminal to buy or lease. VoVi runs in the browser on tablets, laptops and phones you already own. You will need a supported card reader to accept card payments, and we help you choose one during onboarding.
