All prices are before tax. VoVi is not registered for VAT in the UK, so no tax is added to your VoVi bill. Pay for 10 months. Get 12. All plans and features

Tax for your shop

VAT is 20% standard, 5% reduced and 0% zero rate. VoVi ships with all three, and shelf prices include VAT.
Registration is compulsory once taxable turnover passes £90,000 in a rolling 12 months.
Making Tax Digital: VAT-registered businesses keep digital records and file VAT returns through MTD-compatible software. VoVi is not MTD filing software; export your sales and VAT totals to the accounting software that files for you.

Payments

At the register: cash, card (on your own terminal), gift cards, store credit, split payments across two tenders, and layaway with a deposit.

Card payments run on the card terminal you already have, from your bank or payment provider, and you record each one in VoVi as a card sale. VoVi does not process card payments in the UK today. UK shoppers mostly pay contactless on cards and phone wallets; they all run on your card terminal.

VoVi Payments (integrated card processing) is coming soon in the US only. It is not available in the UK.

Questions from shops in UK

Is VoVi a Making Tax Digital (MTD) app?

No. VoVi keeps your sales and VAT records and exports them to CSV or Excel; your MTD-compatible bookkeeping software submits the VAT return.

Can I print my VAT number on receipts?

Yes. The UK set-up has a VAT Reg No. field, and it prints on every receipt once you enter it.

Do your prices include VAT?

Your shop's shelf prices do. VoVi's own Light and Pro prices are before tax, and no VAT is added to your VoVi bill today.

Which card readers work?

Any terminal from your bank or payment provider. You take the payment on the terminal and record it in VoVi as a card sale.

Does it keep working if the internet drops?

Yes. Offline mode keeps the till selling and syncs the sales when the connection is back.
