All prices are before tax. VoVi is not registered for VAT in Ireland, so no tax is added to your VoVi bill. Pay for 10 months. Get 12. All plans and features

Tax for your shop

VAT is 23% standard, with reduced rates of 13.5% and 9% and a zero rate. VoVi ships with all four, and shelf prices include VAT.
Cash totals round to the nearest 5 cent, the way Irish rounding works; card payments are never rounded.

Payments

At the register: cash, card (on your own terminal), gift cards, store credit, split payments across two tenders, and layaway with a deposit.

Card payments run on the card terminal you already have, from your bank or payment provider, and you record each one in VoVi as a card sale. VoVi does not process card payments in Ireland today. Contactless cards and phone wallets run on your card terminal.

VoVi Payments (integrated card processing) is coming soon in the US only. It is not available in Ireland.

Questions from shops in Ireland

Does VoVi round cash to 5 cent?

Yes. In Ireland VoVi rounds the cash total to the nearest 5 cent and shows the rounding on the receipt. Card totals are exact.

Can I print my VAT number on receipts?

Yes. Enter your VAT No. once and it prints on every receipt.

Is VAT added to my VoVi subscription?

No. Prices are before tax, and VoVi is not registered for Irish VAT today, so none is added.

Which card readers work?

Any terminal from your bank or payment provider. Take the payment on the terminal and record it in VoVi as a card sale.
