Payments

At the register: cash, card (on your own terminal), gift cards, store credit, split payments across two tenders, and layaway with a deposit.

Card payments run on the card terminal you already have, from your bank or payment provider, and you record each one in VoVi as a card sale. VoVi does not process card payments in Hong Kong today. Cards run on your own terminal and are recorded in VoVi as card sales. Octopus, FPS and e-wallets are not integrated yet.

VoVi Payments (integrated card processing) is coming soon in the US only. It is not available in Hong Kong.

Does VoVi take Octopus or FPS?

Not directly. Octopus, FPS and e-wallets are not integrated with VoVi yet.

Why is there no tax on my receipts?

Hong Kong has no sales tax or VAT, so the Hong Kong set-up has a zero rate and prints no tax line.

Is any tax added to my VoVi subscription?

No. Prices are before tax and no tax is added.

Which card readers work?

Any terminal from your bank or payment provider. Take the payment there and record it in VoVi as a card sale.
